Since have been in tour to Manali of Kullu Dt., (Himachal Pradesh) last week (4.5.18 to 9.5.18) , missed the nuances published elsewhere in respect of POCHISHE BOISHAKH. (The 25th day of May month/Baishaki) when the entire Bengal celebrates Rabindra Jayanti on “Pochishe Boishakh”. There has always been a slight confusion every year on the date of his birthday.
Tagore was born on the 25th day of Boishakh in the year 1348, as per the Bengali calendar, and he always celebrated his birthday on this day during his lifetime. Tagore admirers have stuck to that date. However, since the corresponding date as per the Georgian calendar is May 7, many consider that as Tagore’s official birthday. This year too, tributes poured in from all quarters on May 7 as India and the world remembered Tagore on his birthday.

కాశీ పట్నం చూడర బాబూ....!
ఆ మధ్య అనుకోకుండా కాశీ పుణ్య క్షేత్రం దర్శించుకోగలగడం అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నాను. అందునా, సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల ఆఖరి ఘట్టం గా జరిగిన ( మోడీ వర్సెస్ కేజ్రీవాల్ - నియోజక వర్గం అయిన ) వారణాసి లో ఎన్నికల రణరంగపు రోజు అయిన 13.05.2014 న అక్కడ ఉండటం అదో ఉత్కంట! నిజానికి కాశీ వెళ్లేముందు ఎంతో తెలుసుకుని వెళ్ళాలనుకుని - 'భారతదేశ తీర్ధయాత్రలు' అనో 'దర్శనీయ పుణ్యక్షేత్ర ములు' అనో ఉన్న చాలా పుస్తకాలు కొని చదివినవి కొద్దిగా సహాయపడగలిగినా, అనేకానేక వెబ్ సైట్లు మాత్రం ఆదరాబాదర అందించిన అసంపూర్తి తో కూడిన సమాచారమే ఉంది. స్వాతంత్ర్యానికి ముందెప్పుడో వ్రాసిన "ఏనుగు వీరాస్వామి" వారి కాశీ దర్శనం పుస్తకం pdf డవున్ లోడ్ చేసుకోగలిగినా, అందులోని వందలాది పేజీల సమాచారం గ్రహించడం, అదీ శుద్ధ గ్రాంధికం లోనూ, అప్పటి కష్టతర ప్రింటింగ్ లో ఉండటంతోనూ - ఆ కొద్ది సమయం లో కుదరలేదు.అయితే తిరిగి వచ్చాక కూడలి లో చక్కటి బ్లాగ్ దొరికింది. అదే ఇది! కాశీ, దాని చుట్టు ముట్టు దర్శనీయ స్థలాల గురించి అద్భుతమైన బ్లాగ్ ముంగిలి. బ్లాగరి లక్ష్మి గారికి వందనాలు. త్వరలో, నా కెమెరా కన్ను తో చూసిన కొన్ని చిత్రాలని కూడా పోస్టు చేస్తాను.
